These new CSOVs (Commissioning Service Operation Vessels) have capacity for up to 120 POB and are fitted with a fully electric  3D crane and an integrated W2W system, composed by a compensated gangway and an elevator with capacity for 26 technicians. Designed to become the world’s most environmentally-friendly vessels of their kind, both vessels are equipped with a truly innovative propulsion system: Two cycloidal propellers driven by permanent magnet electromotors. These “eVSP” propellers are powered by a “Hydrogen-Ready” diesel-electric power system, backed by two independent battery banks, and conceived with the ambitious target to operate with zero carbon emissions in the future.
