GONDAN will join WindEurope Annual Event, which will take place between 25th and 27th of April in Copenhagen, Denmark, stand C1-B50.
The shipowner Edda Wind shows its great satisfaction with the work of the whole team of the shipyard.
Building ships is a source of pride for us, forged since our beginnings almost a century ago.
Every project has meant a new engineering challenge, a uniquely different solution, a job carefully planned and carried out with
our top-quality work and flexibility throughout the entire process, culminating in completely reliable delivery.
That’s how we’ve become a reference name in custom shipbuilding and how we’ve earned our customers’ trust.
And that’s why we know we’re doing things the right way.
Continuously improving materials, processes and technology. One of the keys to our success is our constant efforts to improve the quality of our vessels, as well as the service we provide our customers.
We care about people. Our team of professionals is GONDAN’s fundamental asset and we keep that very much in mind when defining protocols, implementing safety standards and monitoring processes. We fully comply with the legal regulations and shipowners’ requirements regarding quality and safety.
We are well aware of the exceptional value of our surrounding natural environment and that’s why we contribute to its preservation, minimizing the impact of our activity on the environment. We set annual targets for continuous improvement and we promote preventive, rather than corrective, actions.
Our activity transcends our social, cultural and natural environment.
We are part of a community to which we are committed, which is reflected in the collaboration with different entities and associations and the involvement in numerous social initiatives.
We have been constructing steel vessels for over 50 years. Quality- and precision-built by true steel craftsmen, hulls made of this resistant material withstand the pounding of the sea and the passage of time.
We never stop investing in our facilities, modernizing and improving them in order to continue strengthening our steel processing capacity, which today reaches 3,000 T / year.
GONDAN’s Fiberglass Division was created in response to our interest in
expanding the number of market segments to which we offer our
shipbuilding services. This material allows for great versatility and offers
tremendous advantages with regards to production costs and efficiency.
This division focuses production on building passenger vessels and workboats (patrol boats, pilot boats, port service vessels, fishing boats, etc.), made of resins and fiberglass using different composite processing methods (RTM LIGHT, Infusion, Hand Lay-up).
